Rajiv Gandhi Indian Institute of Management Shillong is also popularly known as RGIIM. It is the seventh Indian Institute of Management and aims at providing quality education to its students. The institute derived its name from the late Prime Minister of India Shri Rajiv Gandhi. The institution aims at fulfilling the demands of commerce and industry.

Admission Procedure at Rajiv Gandhi Indian Institute of Management Shillong
All the applications are thoroughly reviewed by the Admissions Committee. Short-listed candidates are called for Group Discussion and/or Personal Interviews (GD & PI). Students are selected based on the applicant’s scholastic performance, GMAT scores, and work experience as well. The GD & PI are to be held in Kolkata, Bangalore, Shillong as well as Delhi and Mumbai in the month of February – March, 2009. Performance of the GD & PI will be the final part of the selection process. The admission will take place in mid-April, 2009 and the registration at Shillong campus is to be held in the third week of the month of June, 2009.
